Klegg Hai!

Klegg Hai!

The final chapter is nigh and it's time to rally the troops! Our previous blogs for Judge Dredd & the Worlds of 2000 AD have almost fully explored the content for The Day the Law Died supplement. From a history of the SJS, character creation options, and new equipment, to exciting scenarios and a ride on the Helter Skelter, we've offered plenty of insight into the content you can expect. In this final installment, we take a look at some of the allies and enemies you can expect to meet. Choose your side wisely, or you may just end up as the next item on the Kleggs' menu!

Judge Dredd certainly gets dragged through the mill during the comic story line. He is framed for murder and banished to Titan, shot in the head by a fellow Judge, dumped into the Big Smelly below Mega-City One, and forced to fight a guerrilla war against a tyrant who has the city in his maniacal grip. Rarely does he go through any of this alone, however, which is good news considering the odds stacked against him. Alien mercenaries, deadly robots, angry citizens, conditioned Judges, and underworld kingpins, Joe takes them all in his stride.

Although they are drawn directly from this time period, the Allies and Adversaries chapter of The Day the Law Died supplement introduces plenty of friends and foes for GMs to employ in any game. The Kleggs and their vicious hounds lurk inside, right alongside the brutal Dredd simulacrum and stern SJS Judges. Thanks to Helter Skelter, Darian Kenzie also makes an appearance. On the side of the rebels, the Judge Tutors leave their classrooms to support Joe's war against Cal, Fergee steps out of the underworld to swing his bat, and Max Normal looks to keep his head down and stay out of trouble. Oh, and Judge Fish also swims into view.

Which brings us to the end of our delve into the content for The Day the Law Died supplement. We hope to have the pdf available in a few short weeks, so stay tuned for more news in that respect! Tune back in next week as we take a look ahead at future content.
