Nature in the real world is a panoply of strange traits, remarkable talents, and evolutionary wonder—and in a place where magic is real there should be far more found in the beasts that roam it! This article includes a half dozen new monsters to include alongside the teleporting dogs and semi-illusory felines adventurers already know: the dreadlion (CR 3), echo-bat (CR 1/8), echo-bat swarm (CR 4), neuro-ant swarm (CR 9), shift-deer (CR 1/4), and windhawk (CR 1/2).
