EN5ider Magazine #11: Smallfolk

Whether gnome or halfling, goblin or kobold, or some other peoples besides—adventure finds smallfolk wherever they dwell! This issue of EN5ider Magazine celebrates all the little-legged adventurers out there with character options, puzzles, nemeses, quests, and a bloody secret in an idyllic isolated village of halflings.

To start off there are Small Mounted Subclasses for barbarians, fighters, and rangers of diminutive size (plus 2 new beasts: the Dire Mole and Dire Sparrow). Then Bella's Bruisers introduces a band of performers (and the Enforcer) that have mastered feats of strength as well as clandestine murder. Whether their wagon stops along the way to wrestle with the elegantly designed Horror in Hollybrook (for 4–5 PCs of 6th level), within waits a dangerous mystery that must be solved before the next full moon lest the Lord of the Bloodhunt's ritual forever seal the fate of Merryvale Valley. Just as ingenious are the 11 clever Gnomelocks herein, mechanisms each with their own puzzling solution for those without the thieves' tools to bypass them. Last of all but certainly not least is Reaper of the Depths, an urgent quest that draws 4–6 PCs of 4th level into the Gloomseam Mine and the lair of the lethal Noctimera!
