Ringing in the New

Happy New Year!

We hope you had a fantastic Christmas and suitably mellow New Year. This week, we're taking a break from our weekly delve into the Judge Child supplement for Judge Dredd & the Worlds of 2000 AD to look ahead at some of the products EN Publishing as a whole will be releasing.

Firstly, if you are a fan of EN Publishing's works, you'll know that we produce some excellent support material for the 5E ruleset. 2021, however, will see the team produce the most audacious and exciting 5E product to date: Level Up.

Billed as an advanced version of the Fifth Edition ruleset, Level Up is being designed to add depth, flavour and meaningful options to the world's most popular roleplaying game. As if that remit isn't enough, however, Level Up is also being written to be backwards compatible with the original 5E rules. Not only will you be able to enjoy deeper mechanics and flavour with this book, you'll also be able to mesh it with everything that has come before. If you're a fan of 5E but always feel the system could be enhancing your experience that little bit more, this is definitely the book for you!

Led by our innovative RPG officionado, Mike Myler, the renowned team working on Level Up are working hard to add meaningful and innovative content to your 5E games.

Also coming this year, we have our fun and fast-paced system known as the Awfully Cheerful Engine! Or ACE! for short. Essentially an extremely rules light and intuitive version of the W.O.I.N. system, ACE! is designed to be flighty, entertaining and engaging. We've already introduced the system within a previous blog, so won't spend too much time retreading the information that you can read there or over on the ACE! website. It's worth mentioning here again, however, that each of the ACE! books will be presented in a 32-page comic book sized format, including the core rulebook. Each issue that follows on from the main rules will provide an entirely new adventure in a familiar yet re-envisioned setting. The titles of the first two issues after the core rules, Spirits of Manhattan and Montana Drones and the Raiders of the Cutty Sark , certainly set the tone for the level of fun and parody we've aimed to achieve.

As if those two titles aren't enough, however, we also have plenty planned on the Judge Dredd & Worlds of 2000 AD, W.O.I.N. and Zeitgeist fronts! Stay tuned for more news in future blogs as we look ahead to the Apocalypse War for Judge Dredd & the Worlds of 2000 AD, demonic disturbances and deadly foes for W.O.I.N., and a compendium of an epic saga that has immersed players and GMs alike in an intriguing, entertaining and critically acclaimed campaign across multiple rulesets. Exciting times indeed for our fans and supporters!
