An Apocalyptic Timeline
Last week saw us wrap up our series of blog posts providing an overview of what to expect in the forthcoming The Day the Law Died Supplement. Joe has been policing the mean streets of Mega-City One for a good few decades now, however, so the installments of thrill power for the Judge Dredd & the Worlds of 2000 AD are far from over. What story lines can you expect to follow on from Cal's tyranny? Read on to find out!
Before we do that, though, a quick word from our sponsor... ourselves! If you are a fan of either the Judge Dredd and the Worlds of 2000 AD, Strontium Dog, or Rogue Trooper RPGs, it would be well worth checking out EN Publishing's EN5ider patreon, where we regularly provide early access to scenarios for our patrons. Not only do you get early access to the pdfs, however, but becoming a patron also provides a nice saving on the cost of the pdf before it hits our digital store. Definitely worth of a few creds, right?
Onto the main feature and what to expect in the future. If you've been following the RPG line from the start, you'll have noticed that we have been tracking Dredd's major story lines as they appeared chronologically in the comics. Well, with a little look ahead to Helter Skelter in The Day the Law Died. Robot Wars, Luna-1, and Cursed Earth all lead on from each other in terms of Dredd's early career. Hot on the heels of our next book, then, is the Judge Child supplement, which takes an expansive look at Dredd's universe beyond the boundaries of Earth and Luna-1. Get ready for a trip across the galaxy as you join the hunt for Owen Krysler, aka the Judge Child!
A certain deadly dimensional interloper makes an appearance between the Judge Child saga and the next epic event but it's such a short appearance we'd capture it later. Which means that the Apocalypse War follows hot on the heels of Dredd's galaxy-spanning travels. This brutal war against East-Meg One and its merciless Sov Judges. Expect block wars, a desperate resistance, and even an opportunity to don a Judge's Helmet emblazoned with a hammer and sickle.
Remember that inter-dimensional traveller we mentioned early? He now makes an appearance with three of his infamous companions. That's right, after the events of the Apocalypse War, it'll be time to say hello to Judge Death and the other three Dark Judges, Mortis, Fire, and Fear. No rest for the wicked, after all. Unless the sssssentence issss death...
We hope you enjoyed our look ahead at the epic story lines we will be delving into. Join us next week as we begin taking a look at the first steps on the trail of the Judge Child.
