You may be familiar with our “Quickstarter” crowdfunding campaigns on Kickstarter. We run these each month and have done 16 so far.
We run a project for two weeks and immediately send the PDF as soon as the project ends. As soon as we get the payment from Kickstarter we then use the funds to pay for the print run and make the idea a physical reality!
In December 2021 Kickstarter announced it would be moving to blockchain technology in the future. Following backlash to this announcement, Kickstarter has since announced they are establishing an advisory council and listening to community feedback before moving forward with these plans.
Some of our supporters at EN Publishing have commented that they no longer want to use Kickstarter in light of the above information. We want to provide options for people, so going forward we will also be offering our Quickstarter crowdfunding campaigns on Indiegogo.
These will be run monthly, in addition to our Kickstarter campaigns, with the same format as usual. Our first campaign on Indiegogo will be Over the Next Hill: 5 Plug-In Settlements for 5E launching today on June 9th.
Over The Next Hill is a 30-page booklet containing five small towns that can be dropped into a campaign with minimal preparation. Each settlement is 4-5 pages long, and presents several NPCs, points of interest, and loose plot hooks that can be developed during play.
And the best bit? It's just £7 (under $10) for the lot as five individual PDFs, or just £20 for the softcover booklet compilation! Check it out here!
